How big is the Studio floor?
Approx 500 square feet, laminate wood flooring, white walls, choice of drapes, soft set available.

Can you do chromakey?
Yes, we can we have a large Chroma Green back dro, permanently lit for those quick productions. We can also offer Chroma Blue at an additional £60.00. We can provide real time chromakeying. You tell us what you want and we can do it for you.

What cameras do you use?
Our basic studio package uses 3 Sony high definition HDR-FX1cameras and a remote Sony 3 chip CCD camera mounted in the lighting grid for overhead shots. These cameras are ideal for webTV and low end TV productions

What if I want to use different cameras and/or formats?
We can supply a number of different camera formats as per the list below.

What format do you record onto?
We can provide all the leading formats. Cost for recorder and media is in addition to standard studio hire charges

Do you have a Camera Jib, for those great crane shots.
We have a remote overhead camera.
Also available 1x Libec Mini Jib = £80.00/day

Do you supply a crew?
We have a preferred crew that understand the studio technology. However, if you wish you can book your own crew with the addition of our own Studio Manager.

What vision mixer do you use?
Retail Therapy Television's facilities are based around the powerful Newtek Video Toaster VT5. Boasting 8 SDI inputs, 24 composite inputs and 8 component. This highly versatile vision switcher allows unlimited possibilities including digital VT machines, downstream keying and real time chromakeying.

Can I ISO a channel?
We can ISO in camera if required, supplied on mini HDV.

What lighting is available?
We have a full lighting grid providing key and soft lighting. This is available in Bronze Plus Package and above.

Do you have prompting facilities?
As part of our Silver Package and above we have two on-camera studio prompters. When producing files for the prompter will you please make them available as .txt files, putting them on a USB memory stick is a good idea! Script editing is available.

Is there any room for pre-production?
The facility is made up of reception/green room, kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge, talent changing room, show prep area and store room, scene store, gallery and studio floor.

What post production support can you give me?
Everything that a full television complex can provide. In house we have post production facilities for graphics and editing. We can offer graphic design, 2d and 3d animation.We have Newtek's Speededit, Avid, and full Adobe CS4 production suite including After Effects. We have telebalance facilities for down the line interviews.

Can you record Voice Overs?
The studio can be configured for voice overs. We can supply wavs and MP3's via email or FTP transfer.

I'm worried about performing in front of the camera. Do you provide training?
We run bespoke presenter training courses for corporate and media clients. Courses include experience in autocue, direct response television, magazine and interview format programming. Also, we have courses for corporate customers in how to deal with the media.

Our company would like to Webcast. Can you help us put TV on the Internet?
If you wish to communicate with your customers and employees demonstrating new products or services then we can help with both pre-record and interactive live broadcasting. For more details, please contact us.

Can you help me with a product I wish to promote?
We have extensive experience in producing sales and demonstration programming. Perfect for exhibitions, DVD, web delivery and broadcast channels.

How easy are you to get to?
We are very near the world famous Shepperton Studios, a stone's throw from Heathrow Airport, not far from the M3 and Kempton Park Racecourse, with easy rail links on the Waterloo line to Ashford (Surrey), Shepperton or Sunbury-on-Thames stations. Ample car parking space is available. (No congestion charge)!

Can you supply catering?
Tea and coffee are always on tap. Lunches are available at £6.00/person
